Participate in the leadership of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As a Sales Floor Lead, you will collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights, and weekends). Why Join Urban Barn: * We don't just sell home décor, we help furnish life's biggest moments * Competitive salary, commissions, and bonuses * A 40% discount on Urban Barn products * Opportunities for professional development and advancement * We offer a fun work environment with a collaborative team that loves to talk design What You Will Do: * Guide customers in their decor choices * Open, prepare and close the store * Train and coach team members * Supports operational tasks for stock and merchandising * Ensure the performance of the store * Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store What you Bring: * At least 2 years of Retail sales and customer service leadership experience * Experience with achieving sales targets * A passion for interior décor and merchandising * Open availability to work minimum 15 hours a week a combination of shifts which may include evenings and weekends * The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg Urban Barn offers a welcoming environment where inclusion, diversity and equity are paramount. What you’ll do

Collaborate with management to lead the sales floor, ensuring an excellent customer shopping experience and a positive team environment. Responsibilities include guiding customers in decor choices, managing store opening and closing, and maintaining visual standards.

Requirements

Requires at least 2 years of retail sales and customer service leadership experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Candidates must have a passion for interior decor and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
