Job summary

Location: Toronto, ON — hybrid, 4 days onsite Duration: 1-Year Contract (Extension & Conversion possible) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Content Designer to create clear, accessible, and customer-centred content experiences across digital products, tools, apps, prototypes and public websites. This role is ideal for a strong UX writer/content designer who can simplify complex concepts, shape content strategy, and partner closely with product, design and engineering teams from ideation through post-launch evaluation. What you will do Conceptualize, design, and deliver future-state and near-term cross-channel content experiences. Create, edit, and proofread product content, including interface copy, guidance and digital journey content. Apply user-centred design practices and research insights to make content accessible and aligned to customer needs. Participate throughout the product lifecycle: ideation, research, feature scoping, planning, design, launch and post-launch evaluation. Develop strategic content plans that align business, brand and user needs. Partner with Experience Design Leads, Product Owners, Tech Leads, engineers and other stakeholders to solve complex content challenges. Present recommendations, manage feedback, meet deadlines and adapt effectively as priorities evolve. Contribute content-design expertise to cross-functional and enterprise initiatives while managing information with discretion. What you bring 5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, digital content strategy, conversation design or a related product-design discipline. Advanced English writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Demonstrated ability to turn complex concepts into clear, audience-focused content. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and strategic content-planning capability. Experience working in user-centred, cross-functional product teams. Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred Mobile-app or mobile-first experience. Public website/public-facing digital experience. Financial-services or other regulated-industry experience. Familiarity with Figma.
