Location: Hybrid — Markham, ON (2 Days Onsite, can go up to 4 days Onsite in the future) Duration: 1 year (ASAP start) Contract (possible extension & conversion) Schedule: M–F, 37.5 hrs./week Job Description Client is seeking a Cryptographic Automation Developer to join the Crypto Solution Validation Team within the Global Security and Defence business unit. This senior-level role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise cryptographic automation solutions that safeguard organizational data and systems. You will automate key management, certificate lifecycle management, encryption processes, and other cryptographic operations. The role involves close collaboration with enterprise DevOps, Crypto Requirements, Crypto Operations, and Security Architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable, and operationally sustainable cryptographic services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy automated solutions for cryptographic services including certificate lifecycle management (issuance, renewal, revocation, compliance monitoring) and key management operations. Develop APIs, automation frameworks, and reusable tools to integrate cryptographic services (encryption, decryption, digital signing, key management) into enterprise applications and CI/CD pipelines. Evaluate, validate, and certify cryptographic products, platforms, and integrations against enterprise security, risk, compliance, and operational requirements. Write and maintain high-quality, secure code using Python, PowerShell, and Bash. Leverage automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) to accelerate cryptographic service delivery. Produce comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, certification artifacts, and contribute to enterprise cryptographic standards and governance. Support Linux and/or Windows server environments as needed for cryptographic solution deployment and operations. Required Skillsets 8+ years of security-related technology experience 3+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering with strong focus on automation and security 5+ years experience with scripting/programming languages: Python, PowerShell, and Bash 5+ years experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong time management, priority management, attention to detail, self-starter mindset, and adaptability Preferred Skillsets Direct experience designing and implementing automation solutions for certificate lifecycle management and cryptographic operations Strong understanding of cryptographic fundamentals (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, key management & lifecycle, PKI, TLS/SSL, digital signatures, hashing algorithms) Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments Education: Post-secondary (asset) Certifications: CISSP certification (asset) About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
