Location: Toronto, ON (4 Day Onsite in a week) Duration: 6 months (ASAP start) Schedule: M–F, 37.5 hrs./week Employment Type: Contract (possible extension & conversion) Job Description Client is seeking a Solutions Developer III/ Process Automation Developer to join the IT team within the CPB Colleague Confidence & Capabilities business unit. You will work in a highly collaborative, agile environment alongside a supportive team of 10 professionals. The role provides exposure across multiple businesses, opportunities for long-term engagement, and a culture that values both technical excellence and strong communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both legacy Microsoft automation tools and modern web technologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver intuitive tools for operations teams. Build and maintain powerful backend automation using VBA (Excel Macros and MS Access) to streamline manual processes. Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Develop and enhance MS Access databases and Excel-based solutions with Macros to support workflow automation and reporting. Design, develop, and consume API methods to integrate systems and tools. Collaborate closely with operations stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and deliver polished, demo-ready products. Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and perform code reviews. Document solutions thoroughly and present functionality clearly to both technical and business audiences.
