Job summary

Duration: 2+ Years Job Description: The Client is undertaking a large-scale healthcare transformation to replace multiple standalone hospital information systems with a unified, integrated Clinical Information System (CIS). The Senior Business Analyst will support business analysis, clinical workflow assessment, and downstream application readiness across this transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities for large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives. Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and workflow assessments. Perform business process analysis, gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution design support. Develop use cases, user stories, workflows, functional specifications, and technical documentation. Identify impacted systems, dependencies, and downstream application impacts. Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project managers. Support application upgrades, consolidations, integrations, data migration, and archiving activities. Coordinate application changes across internal teams and third-party vendors. Mentor junior Business Analysts when required. Support governance reporting, readiness assessments, cutover planning, and risk management. Mandatory Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience 5+ years leading business analysis activities on large healthcare and/or government transformation projects. Experience with: Requirements elicitation & management Stakeholder engagement Workshop facilitation Business process analysis Use case development Workflow development Gap analysis Solution design support Impact assessments Business & technical documentation 3+ years working directly with clinical stakeholders including: Physicians Nursing Allied Health Pharmacy Laboratory Diagnostic Imaging Operational Leaders Experience gathering requirements through interviews, workshops, workflow assessments, user stories, and use cases. Preferred (Scored) Qualifications Experience within client healthcare organizations (Department of Health, Horizon Health Network, Vitalité Health Network, client). Bilingual (English/French). Certifications such as: CBAP PMP PMI Certifications CSM 5+ years working independently while collaborating with executives, SMEs, and stakeholders. Experience presenting to executive leadership, steering committees, governance meetings, and clinical stakeholders. Experience with downstream clinical applications including: Laboratory Pharmacy Diagnostic Imaging Cardiology Registration Scheduling Nursing 3+ years supporting enterprise Clinical Information Systems (CIS) implementations, upgrades, optimization, consolidation, or replacement initiatives.
