The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Toronto. This is a permanent position. This is a hybrid role at head office in Toronto. As a Senior Recruiter, you will deliver integrated recruitment solutions that support the organization’s hiring needs. You will partner closely with HR teams and business leaders to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned, efficient, and compliant with local laws and cultural practices. In this role, you will focus on sourcing top talent, managing pipelines, and enhancing the candidate experience. You will also build strong relationships with business clients to understand their needs, provide consultative support, and ensure a seamless hiring process. Additionally, in this position you will: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, selection, and offer management, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with hiring requirements and timelines. Ensure a positive experience for business clients and candidates from first contact through onboarding by applying best practices and maintaining timely, professional communication. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and high-volume roles by leveraging sourcing channels, networking, and passive candidate engagement. Leverage market intelligence, talent mapping, and benchmarking to inform recruitment strategies, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and maintain a competitive edge through audits and governance support. Continuously enhance recruitment practices by staying current on industry trends, tools, and technologies, and implementing innovative solutions to attract and engage top talent. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate effectiveness, improve processes, and support hiring goals with data-driven insights. Promote the employer value proposition (EVP) and support branding initiatives that showcase the organization’s culture, values, and opportunities. About You Education: An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience. Skills: Hands on experience in full lifecycle recruitment in a global organization or search agency executing high volume recruitment. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex working environment. Experience with recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems and other Human Resources Management software. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage internally and externally at all levels. Strong negotiating and selling skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
