Job summary
Primary Duties * Put away stock items from receiving based on set locations * Determine new locations for all TBA (non-allocated) items received * Assign storage location for received materials in SAP and update accordingly * Place stock into designated area by hand or forklift * Process all unit returns and physically put away * Remove items from inventory location by hand or forklift * Prepare documentation and manage transport for item to end user location * Process stock pull requests via warehouse printer * Verification of stock performed via SAP * Prentiss requests received are picked then handed off to Shipping for transport * Adding refurbished or repaired stock back into inventory * Arranging stock placement for efficiency and ease of access by hand and with forklift * Verify pull paperwork against Kit Program * Schedule list is received * Marshaller pulls items from 521 (if applicable) * Stock from unit is placed in a single kit box * Kit boxes are labelled and located on designated shelving * Kit tracker updated with dates, destination, work date, and other fields * Unused stock returned to main warehouse upon approval and updated in SAP Inventory Counts * Count and report on yearly stock checks provided by Dow * Physical verification that stock level matches SAP * Data entered into excel for submittal House Keeping * Sweeping areas clean * Garbage removal Health and Safety * Daily FLHA/PTA cards * Bi-Weekly safety meeting attendance * Weekly hazard ID cards * On-time completion of all Dow required courses (Diamond Learning) * Read, understand, and follow Vallen's health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&S legislation/regulations * Actively participate in Vallen's health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections * Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses * Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements * Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks * Other duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Minimum 1-3 years of related experience, preferable in a Sales/Distribution environment.
