Job summary
Vamos Events is looking for an experienced Lighting & Event Technician to join our technical team on a freelance, event-by-event basis across the GTA and surrounding areas. Requirements: Hands-on experience with Martin LightJockey lighting control software Experience with moving heads and professional event lighting equipment Experience with basic sound equipment setup, including speakers, stands and cabling Comfortable assisting with full load-in, equipment setup, strike and load-out Able to safely lift, carry and move event production equipment, including speakers, lighting fixtures, stands and cases Good understanding of event-site safety, cabling and proper equipment handling Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently as part of an event production team Available for evenings, weekends and late-night load-outs Valid Ontario G driver’s licence Reliable personal vehicle required for travel to and from varying event locations Engagement: Freelance / event-based Compensation: Agreed per event based on event scope, hours and technical requirements.
