Celebrating 20 years as an advocate for regional economic development in the region, the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance is the only non-government organization with a cross-sectoral, collaborative outlook on the Vancouver Island economy. As a collaborative partnership of dedicated Islanders, we spearhead regional economic development for the Vancouver Island region. In addition to hosting Vancouver Island's premier economic summit, we constantly provide a means for our multitude of communities, First Nations, businesses, and other key stakeholders to share insight and solutions to the issues we face, while facilitating cross-sectoral economic development programs that improves the region’s overall capacity for growth.

Lead VIEA’s strategic direction and regional economic development work, building partnerships and representing the organization with governments, First Nations, businesses, and other stakeholders. Oversee organizational operations, finances, funding, projects, reporting, risk management, and delivery of the annual State of the Island Economic Summit.
