Job summary
Currently we are hiring "API Automation" with one of our client - Toronto Location Mode : Hybrid (4 days per week in-person at Toronto office preferred) JD: Roles and responsibilities: ▪ Help with and implement our QA Architectural Artifacts ▪ All testing systems, their feedback loops and mechanisms, logging, reporting and interconnectivity ▪ Process artifacts that detail how, where and why quality controls and test mechanisms exist across the entire SDLC ▪ Implementation level architecture for good, scalable and maintainable testing strategies across disparate use cases (Web, Mobile, Data Engineering, AI etc) ▪ Contribute to and maintain our org wide Architecture Decision Records ▪ Support the delivery and maintenance of our QA Engineering Policies, Procedures and Standards ▪ CI/CD practices, environment configuration, feedback loops etc ▪ Backend tooling, frameworks, their application, quality gating and measurement ▪ Technology stack/services consultancy and selection in accordance with technical and quality requirements (scalability, performance, security, compliance) ▪ Support our QA Operational Practices Drive Ecommerce and Partstown wide quality automation projects ▪ Integration, Acceptance, Performance, Security level testing platforms ▪ Govern, train and evangelize good tests versus bad tests at each testing level ▪ Drive best in class QA strategies ▪ Our customers need to love what we do for them ▪ Work across disciplines and with other Principal Engineers to evangelize for the needs of the Quality Automation discipline ▪ Knowledge transfer, training, mentoring of QA practices across the engineering org
What you’ll do
The role involves implementing QA architectural artifacts and maintaining quality controls across the SDLC. Additionally, it includes supporting QA engineering policies and driving quality automation projects.
Requirements
Candidates should have experience in scalable and maintainable testing strategies across various use cases. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and the ability to mentor and train others in QA practices is also essential.
