Essential Functions and Purpose: The Parts Shipper/Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, organizing, and shipping parts to support efficient inventory flow and customer satisfaction. This role ensures parts are handled safely, recorded properly, and delivered or stored in a timely manner. Principal Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips or purchase orders Accurately label, sort, and store incoming parts in designated locations Pick and pack parts orders for internal departments, customers, and branch transfers Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, documentation, and carrier coordination Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions in the system Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area Communicate with the parts team and other departments to ensure timely processing of orders Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or Supervisor Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Who we are: Velocity Truck Centres Canada provides full-service support, including sales, maintenance, parts, collision repair, and financing.
