As a Process Innovation Intern within the NORAM Technologies & Products business line, you will work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions that accelerate growth and enhance operational performance. You will leverage both traditional process improvement methodologies and emerging AI technologies to drive meaningful change across the organization. Key Responsibilities During this internship, you may work on projects such as: Process Analysis & Optimization: Map and analyze current workflows across sales, engineering, and operations to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities Engineering Process Standardization: Work with engineering teams to streamline standardized processes, system designs, calculations, and technical specifications to reduce project delivery time Workflow Automation: Identify and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks such as report generation, data entry, document formatting, and routine communications Content & Documentation Improvement: Develop and refine templates, guidelines, and standardized content for proposals, RFP responses, customer presentations, and technical documentation Sales & Growth Analytics: Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market information to identify growth opportunities, competitive insights, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership Customer Experience Enhancement: Evaluate customer touchpoints and develop solutions to improve inquiry response times and information delivery Innovation Tool Evaluation: Research, test, and recommend process improvement tools and AI platforms that benefit the business; document successful use cases, create implementation guides, and support team training and adoption Qualifications Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years completed Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop practical solutions Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for real-world tasks Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear, professional business documents Data analysis capabilities - comfortable with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools to analyze trends and create visualizations Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain recommendations to diverse audiences Additional Information Join a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect. Compensation The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $21.63 - $27.30 CAD.
