Job summary
Position Senior Service & UX Designer Consultant Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Work Setting: Hybrid Contract: November 2, 2026 – November 1, 2027 Extensions: Two additional 1-year extensions Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive UX, UI, and Service Design experience in complex enterprise environments. 5+ years supporting digital transformation initiatives within government, public sector, Crown corporations, or comparable environments. Demonstrated end-to-end Human-Centred Design experience. Strong user research and usability-testing experience. Experience with personas, journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Experience designing responsive web applications and enterprise digital platforms. Experience with enterprise design systems, component libraries, design tokens, and interaction standards. Experience applying WCAG 2.2 AA or equivalent accessibility standards. Experience working within Agile delivery teams. Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and QA. Strong stakeholder workshop and facilitation experience. Experience preparing production-ready design specifications and supporting developer handoff. Experience performing design QA and validating implemented solutions. Experience with Figma, Miro, FigJam, Jira and/or Confluence.
