Surveillance Investigator

Contract Surveillance Investigators — Insurance/WCB/Disability Claims — Calgary & Alberta Veritas Risk Group Ltd. is a Calgary-based investigations firm working with insurers, legal counsel, and corporate clients. We're building a roster of licensed private investigators for contract surveillance work on insurance, disability, and WCB claims files. This is case-by-case contract work, not employment — suited to PIs who want additional files without committing to fixed hours. Requirements: Valid Alberta Private Investigator licence Experience with insurance, disability, or WCB claim surveillance — Activity documentation, functional capacity discrepancies, reports that hold up to review by adjusters or counsel Own vehicle and surveillance equipment Comfortable with multi-day or extended shift files Available on a per-case basis; no guaranteed hours Structure: Paid per assignment, invoiced by you as an independent contractor Rates discussed per file based on scope Field-based work in and around Calgary/Alberta — not remote

Conduct contract surveillance on insurance, disability, and WCB claims files. Document activities and functional capacity discrepancies to produce reports for adjusters or legal counsel.

Must possess a valid Alberta Private Investigator licence and have experience in insurance or disability surveillance. Candidates must own a vehicle and surveillance equipment and be available for per-case assignments.
