Job Title: Production Engineering Technician Job Location: Windsor, CO Blades Factory Job type: Fulltime Available Shifts: Monday - Thursday from 6pm - 4:30am (night shift - $3/hour differential) Position Summary The Technical Support Technician is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes within the wind turbine blade production facility. This role works closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams to troubleshoot process issues, improve efficiency, maintain production documentation, and ensure production goals are achieved safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for assigned manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Work closely with production teams to meet manufacturing targets. Monitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead or support continuous improvement and process optimization projects. Assist with new process implementation, technology transfers, and capacity expansion projects. Create, update, and maintain: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Production Work Instructions (PWIs) Bills of Materials (BOMs) Process documentation Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). Conduct process audits and ensure documentation accuracy. Provide technical guidance to production and logistics personnel. Ensure safety standards and manufacturing procedures are followed. Required Qualifications Associate Degree or Technical School education preferred. Minimum 4 years of manufacturing or production experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing process flow and factory operations. Experience troubleshooting production/process issues. Experience creating and maintaining work instructions and technical documentation. Ability to analyze data and identify root causes of problems. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Basic computer proficiency (Excel, documentation systems, manufacturing software). Preferred Qualifications Experience with composites, fiberglass, resin, epoxy, or blade manufacturing. Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement experience. Engineering Change Management experience. Technical writing and process documentation experience. Project leadership experience.
