About the Role Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure. Why Join The White Rock Team? The veterinary assistant will educate clients on animal care, medications, and preventative health under the direction of a veterinarian. They are also responsible for handling animals safely and assisting with laboratory procedures.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the veterinary field and possess strong communication and leadership skills. A passion for animal care and the ability to work collaboratively in a calm team environment are required.
