Oakbank Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. About Oakbank Animal Hospital Oakbank Animal Hospital has been serving the pets and people of the Rural Municipality of Springfield and surrounding communities for more than 30 years. Established in 1988, our hospital has built strong, lasting relationships with generations of clients and their pets. We are a primarily companion animal practice, with a diverse caseload that includes dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pocket pets, equine, and hobby farm animals. Our DVM team works together through an on-call and weekend rotation to provide continuity of care for our clients and patients. Our purpose-built facility opened in 2012 and offers a bright, welcoming environment with modern equipment, including: In-house laboratory equipment Digital radiography Ultrasound ECG iStat Dental suite You’ll work alongside an experienced team of veterinarians, registered veterinary technologists, veterinary assistants, receptionists, and practice leadership who are committed to providing excellent patient care. The Opportunity We are looking for a self-motivated and dedicated veterinarian who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to build strong relationships with clients and their pets. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: Provide high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care Work with a diverse small animal caseload Gain exposure to equine and hobby farm medicine Perform routine surgeries and dentistry Utilize modern diagnostic equipment Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets Participate in an on-call and weekend rotation Learn from experienced colleagues and continue developing your clinical skills New graduates are welcome to apply! What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a veterinarian who: Holds a DVM degree from an accredited university Is eligible for veterinary licensure in Manitoba Is passionate about veterinary medicine and providing excellent patient care Brings enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude Values teamwork and collaboration Has strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues Enjoys client education and building long-term relationships Is comfortable participating in on-call shifts and weekend rotations Has an interest in or experience with equine and large animal medicine and surgery, which would be an asset Why Join Us?
