Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Victoria, BC. The Carpenter will perform a variety of restoration and construction tasks, including framing, installing and repairing structural and finish components, and completing carpentry work to restore damaged properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading plans or work orders, measuring and cutting materials, safely operating hand and power tools, and executing high-quality finish carpentry such as trim, doors, and cabinetry. The role involves working closely with project managers and technicians, maintaining a clean and safe job site, and interacting professionally with clients and team members. The Carpenter contributes directly to restoring properties to pre-loss condition while adhering to company standards, timelines, and safety practices. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in carpentry and framing for residential and commercial restoration projects. High-quality finish carpentry skills, including trim work, doors, and cabinetry installation. Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools commonly used in construction and restoration. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
