Job description: Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move rebar around the job site efficiently. This role involves using a telehandler to load shearlines and bending stations with rebar as well as unloading cut rebar from shear bins and transfer it to bending stations and load onto trucks. The Telehandler will play a critical role in ensuring that materials are transported safely and effectively, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. Duties Operate the telehandler to lift, move, and position materials as required on the job site. Ensure safe handling of loads while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler and report any issues to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly. Requirements Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Valid telehandler certification. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
