Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support our team in managing daily operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Draft correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings. Draft assessable disbursement lists and accounts. Process payment for invoices. Track accident benefit denials. Provide administrative support including dictation, scheduling appointments, discoveries, mediations and managing calendars. Maintain organized files and data entry into FileVine. Handle clerical duties such as answering calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence efficiently. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall productivity. Skills Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and time management. Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Experience with FileVine or similar document management systems is a plus. Excellent legal drafting and proofreading abilities. Strong clerical skills, including attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
