We build and operate the creative and media systems that drive investor acquisition for our clients' raises. We are a lean, fast-moving team in a period of growth. This role carries significant ownership over creative production and has direct, measurable impact on client outcomes. The Role The Graphic & Video Designer is responsible for producing the video and design assets that power our paid media and funnel campaigns. Video is the core of the role; graphic and static design is a significant secondary discipline. All creative is built around a Hook → Story → Offer structure. The position requires consistent, high-volume output and frequent iteration, with a clear focus on conversion performance rather than brand aesthetics alone. Because our clients market to investors, the work must balance direct-response production standards with the credibility expected of financial content. Responsibilities - Video Production (primary) Concept, edit, and deliver video ads for Meta, YouTube, and Performance Max using the Hook → Story → Offer framework Produce landing page videos that support conversion from click through to action Create video for mid-funnel automations — nurture, reminder, and re-engagement sequences — to convert and re-activate existing leads Produce long-form video sales letters (VSLs) and webinar/event edits for funnel and email campaigns Edit UGC, testimonial, and founder/talking-head footage into ad-ready creative Produce motion graphics and data visualizations that communicate track record, returns, and other credibility signals Adapt and resize video across aspect ratios and placements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) for each platform and feed Apply captions, subtitles, and on-screen text optimized for sound-off viewing Produce multiple variations per concept — including hook swaps and cutdowns — to support ongoing creative testing Edit footage from external videographers into polished, platform-ready assets Build video from stock, motion graphics, and existing assets where no footage is available Graphic & Static Design (secondary) Design static and motion image ads for paid social and search Build email templates and graphics for marketing and funnel automation campaigns Design websites and landing pages — visuals, layouts, and supporting graphics Produce sales and marketing collateral, including pitch and sales decks, ebooks, lead magnets, and other client-facing materials Develop and maintain reusable templates and asset libraries to support scalable output Production & Pipeline Manage the execution layer of the creative process: brief, produce, deliver, iterate Maintain consistent output across multiple active client accounts without compromising quality Translate performance feedback and strategist input into subsequent creative Maintain organized files, version control, and clear naming conventions Requirements 3+ years of professional graphic and video design experience, ideally in a performance or direct-response environment (agency or high-growth brand) Strong video editing skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent, with the ability to take a concept to a finished, launch-ready asset independently Graphic design capability in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent for static and motion creative Working knowledge of platform-native specifications and formats for Meta, YouTube, and Performance Max A performance mindset, with the ability to interpret creative metrics and edit toward conversion Demonstrated ability to maintain high output and rapid iteration without loss of quality Ability to work from briefs and direction provided by the Creative Strategist and Design Director Proficiency with AI tools to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining original creative Based in Canada Working Relationships Creative Strategist — Owns creative strategy and develops briefs. You produce against those briefs and partner on interpreting performance and shaping subsequent rounds. Paid Media Team — Launches creative into live accounts and manages spend. You maintain a consistent supply of assets and variations for testing. Design Director — Your direct manager. Sets creative standards, provides feedback, and ensures consistency across the portfolio. Client Solutions & Strategy Managers — Provide client context, priorities, and timelines. You ensure deliverables align with each client's offer and audience.
