Corporate Counsel — Hourly Contract (Overflow Legal Support) Vendor engagement in partnership with Visier Engagement type: This is an hourly, contract-based engagement intended to support overflow legal work for Visier's legal team — not a salaried or full-time position. Hours will fluctuate based on deal volume and workload needs. What you'll be doing... Negotiating, formulating, and executing on growth-impacting deals of varying complexity, including with some of the largest customer and partner organizations around the world Partner with cross-functional teams, including Privacy, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Governance, Risk and Compliance, to harmonize risk tolerance, manage compliance expectations, and set a pro-growth directive bound by appropriate safeguards Serve in an expert role in relation to Visier’s customer contract negotiations and expanding vendor and partner portfolio through various initiatives targeted at optimizing and accelerating Visier’s growth Support research and product expansion initiatives Counsel on general corporate business matters, including employment relations across Visier’s global workforce Operate with relative autonomy as a trusted partner and advisor What you'll bring to the table... Called to the Bar, with between 4 and 7 years post-call experience Experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer, with exposure to any of: (i) SaaS technology, (ii) cross-border transactions, (iii) technology M&A, or (iv) international privacy and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, EU AI Act) being considered advantageous Experience in driving and negotiating complex contracts through to close, often as the only negotiator against a team of negotiators Organized, critical thinker, with strong attention to details and great sense of urgency Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple closings, and meet established goals in a deadline-driven environment Expert collaborator who thrives on building relationships with internal teams in order to solve interesting issues and deliver results

Requirements

Must be called to the Bar with 4 to 7 years of post-call experience in corporate and commercial law. Experience in SaaS, international privacy compliance, and driving complex contracts to close is highly advantageous.
