Vision Talent/Jarvis Consulting is supporting one of Canada's leading banks, they are seeking multiple Mainframe Developers/Mainframe Application Support Specialists to join their growing team. They are seeking Senior Mainframe Specialists with banking experience to assist with ongoing modernization initiatives, as well as helping to mentor/train junior developers. These are initial 12 month contract terms that may convert to permanent employment after the 12 month contract term. These roles will be 100% remote from anywhere in Canada. Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of core banking processing, transactions and proven analytical skills 10 - 15+ years of application development, analysis experience on large-scale/enterprise mainframe systems (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) Experience working on medium to large scale mainframe application supporting a broad range of services and transactions Proven leader with coaching/mentoring experience Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Apply today to learn more! Requirements

Requires 10–15+ years of application development and analysis experience on enterprise mainframe systems, including COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL, along with banking experience. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of core banking processing, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience coaching or mentoring others.
