In this role, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, work with multiple small and mid-sized organizations, and make a meaningful impact by providing the HR expertise they need. Location: Alberta - Remote Position Type: Contractor Department: Delivery Compensation: $75-$100/hour, dependent on experience What You’ll Do: Provide HR guidance and support to a variety of clients, from small businesses to mid-sized organizations Offer expertise in areas like HR audit, talent management, HR policies, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development Help clients identify gaps and implement solutions tailored to their culture and business objectives Build relationships with client leadership and teams to influence positive workplace outcomes Operate independently while maintaining open communication with our team and client stakeholders What We’re Looking For: 7-10 years of progressive HR experience Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance Experience developing and implementing HR frameworks, policies, and systems (e.g., agreements, leave tracking, HRIS, or performance management tools). Able to lead strategy and risk discussions with leadership and turn insights into actionable HR solutions Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills; able to influence and advise at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on practical, business-aligned solutions Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (CHRP/CPHR designation preferred).
