NOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application. JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent performs all types of general and vascular ultrasound procedures in the department. They are responsible for all aspects of ultrasound examinations in the ultrasound department and for maintaining high image quality. They perform all other related duties based on departmental needs and may be asked to work on the floor as needed. REQUIREMENTS: • Member in good standing of Sonography Canada; • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate; • Successful completion of certification programs for functions specific to the unit, within set timeframe; • Good judgement and communication; • Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload; • Ability to work independently and as a team member; • Physical ability to perform assigned duties; • Good previous work history (performance and attendance); • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values; • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network. • The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process. • Should there be no fully qualified applicants, this position will not necessarily be reposted.
