Position Title: Warehouse Director Location: Lachine & Dorval, Québec Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Department: Operations / Logistics Reports To: President & Executive Leadership Team Position Summary The Warehouse Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for two company-owned 3PL warehouses located in Lachine and Dorval. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, optimizing processes through automation, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in 3PL warehousing who excels in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and can implement modern warehouse technologies to increase productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Management * Oversee day-to-day operations for both Lachine and Dorval facilities. * Ensure all warehouse activities (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control) are executed with high accuracy and efficiency. * Develop and implement operational KPIs, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded. * Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Automation & Process Optimization * Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of automated warehouse systems (WMS upgrades, conveyors, scanning technologies, etc.). * Identify process inefficiencies and establish improvement initiatives * Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance throughput and reduce manual tasks. Customer & Client Management * Serve as the primary operational point of contact for multiple clients with diverse requirements. * Ensure all service-level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations are consistently met. * Lead business reviews, prepare performance reports, and proactively address client concerns or improvement opportunities. Team Leadership & Development * Manage, mentor, and develop warehouse managers, supervisors, and staff across both sites. * Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. * Plan workforce needs and ensure efficient labor allocation based on volume forecasts. Financial & Strategic Responsibilities * Develop and manage annual operating budgets for both warehouses. * Monitor cost structures and implement initiatives to optimize labor, equipment, and storage utilization. * Participate in strategic planning related to network optimization, customer onboarding, and capacity planning. Qualifications Required * Minimum 7–10 years of experience managing operations in a 3PL-owned warehouse environment. * Proven experience overseeing multiple facilities or large-scale warehouse operations. * Strong expertise in warehouse automation technologies and continuous improvement initiatives. * Excellent customer relationship management skills with experience servicing multiple clients simultaneously. * Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency with WMS systems and related digital tools. * Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset. Preferred * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or related field. * Knowledge of Québec labor laws and health & safety regulations. Requirements
