Location Address 22 Veevers Drive Hamilton, Ontario L8K 5P5 When Opportunity Type Event - Specific Date Starts Tuesday, October 6, 2026 Ends Monday, October 26, 2026 About This Opportunity We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible teens and adults to join us as volunteer guides in our two upcoming EcoHouse PA Days. Volunteers in this role will directly work with children and families, help to prep and clean-up the site, lead activities and games, and ensure that safety and fun are at the forefront of each session. Here’s The Deets ⭐ November 27th, 2026, 8:30am - 3:30pm (3 shifts available) ⭐ Training date: Oct 23rd, 4-6pm ⭐ 22 Veevers Drive, Hamilton, ON ⭐ Ages 14+, those 18+ need to submit a background check ⭐ Volunteer hours are earned for this opportunity Volunteers on this day will have a variety of roles to choose from based on ability and interest. We are looking for a wide range of people to make these days fantastic, including… 👟 exercise lovers to lead physical activities 📖 book worms to lead eco storytime 🎨 creative minds to lead art activities 🌿 naturalists to lead plant/animal identification activities 🔍 and more! Email us to share a hobby or skill you’d want to teach kids and families about All volunteers will be responsible for assisting as able in set up and clean up, site operations during programming, secondary child supervision (guardians will be present), answering questions, and helping wayfind for families. Volunteers should be comfortable working with kids and being outdoors. Some indoor volunteering opportunities will be available and may include dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, preparing snacks, supervising the quiet room, and storytelling. Multiple shifts are available and volunteers can choose one or more.
