Location Address 1280 Main Street West Hamilton, Ontario L8S 4S4 When Opportunity Type Event - Specific Date Starts Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Ends Sunday, October 18, 2026 About This Opportunity Join the volunteer team supporting Wellwood's 28th Annual Walk/Run/Wheel fundraising event to Kick Cancer's Butt. All funds raised go directly to providing no cost programs to those with or affected by a cancer diagnosis. We are recruiting for the Race Marshal role at our annual fundraising event. As a Race Marshal you stand at the side of the race route, (you are the wind beneath the participants feet/wheels), encouraging them to continue on and ensure they stay on the race route. High school students will receive 4 hours of volunteer time. All volunteers receive Wellwood swag as a thank you for supporting the event. Location: McMaster University Student Centre, 1280 Main Street West, Hamilton. Start/End Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon The event runs rain or shine.
