Job summary
Explore your next role: As a key member of the Material Control team, the Aviation Material Technician Lead will report to the Manager, Material Control. This position ensures that the daily task assignments are actioned and will provide AMTs with guidance and answer general questions pertaining to the daily activities involved in Receiving, Issuing, Shipping, Inventory Control and Projects within the Material Control Department. * Follow established Company policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety and environmental standards. * Oversee, assist, and provide insight to AMT’s when required for the following: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against packing slips and other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods. * Provide training for new and existing AMT. * Operate warehousing equipment (Pallet Jack, Forklift, Condor Chick). * Will lead AMTs on daily assignments and will act as point of contact during Manager’s absence. * Active involvement of physical inventory counting. Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Minimum 2 years of Warehouse Experience in a Team Lead role * Knowledge of aircraft tooling and shipment of dangerous goods is considered an asset. * Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word with proven data entry skills. * Experience using inventory related software, such as Win Air, is an asset. * Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills, leadership skillset, motivation and ability to identify solutions. * Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of warehouse experience in a team lead role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory software are required, along with the ability to operate warehousing equipment.
