Education: Expérience: Education College/CEGEP Tasks Interpret welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) Determine weldability of materials Operate hoisting and lifting equipment Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment Welding techniques Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG) Employment terms options Evening Shift Morning Experience 5 years or more Employment terms options Day Weekend Durée de l'emploi: Permanent Langue de travail: Anglais Heures de travail: 30 to 36 hours per week

The welder will interpret welding process specifications and operate various welding and cutting equipment. They will examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in welding and related tasks. A college or CEGEP education is preferred.
