Position: Unica (EMM) – monday.com Integration Architect Position Type: Contract 5 Months (Extendable) No. of Positions: 1 Location: Canada (Remote) Description We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with extensive expertise in HCL Unica (Enterprise Marketing Management - EMM) and solid knowledge of Monday.com to design and deliver enterprise integration solutions. In this role, you will define scalable architectures that connect both platforms, enabling efficient campaign execution, automated workflows, and streamlined business operations. The successful candidate will combine strong technical leadership with hands-on experience in Unica backend architecture, enterprise integrations, and Java development. Responsibilities: Architect and implement integration solutions connecting HCL Unica (EMM) with Monday.com. Provide technical direction throughout solution architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing support. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within the Unica/EMM environment. Design backend integration processes, API connectivity, data synchronization, and workflow automation. Work closely with business and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Develop, review, and optimize Java-based integration components. Establish integration standards, architectural guidelines, and development best practices. Support application releases, performance tuning, and continuous platform improvements. Mentor technical teams and provide architectural oversight during all project phases. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and application development. Strong expertise with HCL Unica / Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM). Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale integration solutions. Solid understanding of Monday.com, including its APIs, automation capabilities, and workflow configuration. Hands-on experience developing applications in Java. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, JSON, XML, and enterprise integration frameworks. Experience designing databases and writing efficient SQL queries. Proven ability to troubleshoot enterprise applications and backend systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating marketing automation platforms with workflow management solutions. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise deployment methodologies. Experience using Power Automate or similar automation platforms. Previous experience leading solution architecture reviews and enterprise technology initiatives. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in enterprise software architecture and application development, with strong expertise in HCL Unica and knowledge of Monday.com. Hands-on experience in Java development and enterprise integration solutions is also required.
