Engineering Manager - Water Treatment Solutions Location: Cambridge, ON Our client is an innovative water industry company that distributes pumps and water treatment systems for municipal, commercial, industrial and residential applications, and is also a leading manufacturer of commercial water reuse systems. We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and grow the engineering team. This role suits an experienced leader who can guide engineers across multiple disciplines, strengthen project delivery processes and support the advancement of new technologies and products. You will oversee engineering activities across design, testing, manufacturing support and field execution, while helping scale R&D and product development programs, including innovations in water reuse, treatment efficiency and commercial RO systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee the planning, execution and completion of engineering projects within specified timelines and budget constraints. Provide technical guidance and expertise in water management, treatment and distribution systems. Drive the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions to address current and future water challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, operations and business development, to ensure seamless project execution. Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring all engineering projects comply with applicable guidelines. Manage the engineering budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or a related field). Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successful project delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to comprehend technical documents, including drawings, specifications and procedure manuals. Experience in water management, treatment and distribution systems.
