Liaise with architects and provide design direction and review designers' drawings. Essential Roles And Responsibilities Mechanical design for H.V.A.C, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems Organize and coordinate design staff to meet project deadlines. Drawing review and markup Required Skills Mechanical engineering design for HVAC, hydronics, plumbing, drainage Extensive knowledge of building codes, energy codes, plumbing codes, fire codes, ASHRAE Standards Proficient in HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Multi-tasker Thrive in a fast-paced working environment Good communicator Strong Intuitive and proactive manner with problem-solving mindset Ability to concentrate on multiple tasks Ability to review, interpret and apply building codes in different jurisdictions Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to identify potential risks and deal with them directly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Experience 5 - 10 years working experience in the building industry with a background planning and executing projects as part of a project team. A bachelor's degree/diploma in mechanical engineering Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng), P.Tech, C.E.T. (10 years) Project Management Professional (P.M.P.) considered an asset Autodesk, REVIT, AutoCAD working knowledge and mentor team members/EIT
