Wagashi tea house is looking for a Cook to Join our Team. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine an asset. We are willing to train the right candidate. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Checking daily/ weekly prep to ensure there is a required amount with out wastage. Following standardized recipes and menu specifications to maintain standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to the expected standard. Ensure that all food products are handled, rotated, labeled, stored, prepared, and served in accordance with Canadian Food Safety Guidelines Working cooperatively as part of a team. Report all deficiencies/ breakages in kitchen equipment to the Manager as soon as possible Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Discounted or free food * Store discount Ability to commute/relocate: * Canmore, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Cooking: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person
