CONSOLIDATED OFFICE INSTALLATION SERVICES - OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLER Location: Kingston, ON Role Type: Permanent, Full Time. Salary Range: $21.00-24.00 per hour; commensurate with experience. Employer: paid Benefits*: Health, dental, critical illness, life insurance; HSA; EAP Start Date: As soon as possible We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on candidate to join our team as an Office Furniture Installer. Experience in the field or closely related field is required. Valid G-class driver's licence required. In this role, you’ll help deliver, assemble, and install office furniture for corporate and institutional clients across the region. Consolidated Office Installation Services offers interested candidates with office furniture installation experience and an aptitude for hands-on, practical work the opportunity to apply their skills, enthusiasm, and experience to the field of office furniture installation and assembly. What You’ll Do: * Deliver, assemble, and install office furniture and systems * Follow floor plans, diagrams, and installation instructions * Drive smaller delivery vehicles as required (3-ton cargo van, transit van) * Load and unload trucks with product, tools, and equipment * Use hand and power tools safely and effectively * Perform basic repair work and service calls when required * Communicate clearly with clients and coworkers * Work safely and maintain professional conduct on every job site What We’re Looking For: * Experience with office furniture systems (Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Herman Miller, Global, Allsteel, Knoll) is an asset * Ability to lift 50 lbs + and perform physical tasks throughout the day is required * Must have own tools and required PPE (safety boots, hard hat) * Tool purchase program offered * Valid G-class driver’s license is required * Bilingualism is an asset. * Must be bondable * Ability to read floor plans, drawings, and assembly instructions * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Comfortable working with GPS, tablets, and basic tech * Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends What We Offer: * Starting pay from $21/hour, depending on experience * Company-paid health and dental benefits subject to eligibility requirements* * Employee Assistance Program * Paid travel time and reimbursement of reasonable work-related expenses * Tool purchase program * Training on additional furniture lines and opportunities for skill development Additional Information: * Reliability or Secret Clearance is an asset (security clearance will be initiated upon hire) * Background check required upon offer Please Note: Applicants selected for the position will be required to provide a CPIC (police background check/criminal record check) upon offer of employment.
