Job summary

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the backroom and unloading department processes, respond to problems and inquiries, and develop associates through teaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion. Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required. What You'll Do... Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Stocking 1 and 2 Coach and the Store Management Team. Assesses the overall presentation of backroom and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes or stocking where required. Ensure strong communication with associates and management with the planning meeting, lead the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program. Review completed schedules with People Lead. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
