Role Description The Sales Intern role at WattByte is a full-time, on-site position based in Edmonton, AB. The intern will support the sales team by researching potential clients, preparing outreach lists, and assisting with lead qualification in the AI, HPC, and crypto mining sectors. Daily tasks include participating in client calls and meetings, documenting follow-ups, preparing sales materials and presentations, and updating CRM systems with accurate data. The Sales Intern will help coordinate customer inquiries, support onboarding activities, and collaborate with team members on sales initiatives and training efforts. This role offers exposure to energy markets, data center hosting, and technology-driven sales processes while contributing to revenue growth and customer success. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage professionally with clients and internal teams. Candidates should possess foundational Sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and support in closing opportunities. Candidates should possess interest or experience in Training and Sales Management support, such as assisting with sales playbooks and team coordination. Basic understanding or willingness to learn about technology infrastructure, energy markets, or data centers is beneficial. Ability to work on-site full time in Edmonton, AB, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM systems) and a data-driven mindset. Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
