Job details

This rapidly growing healthcare and medical supplies distributor provides a broad range of products to hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, home-care providers, and individual healthcare professionals across Canada. The company is known for its extensive inventory, covering everything from durable medical equipment and mobility aids to consumables, personal protective equipment, and diagnostic tools. Operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, the team prioritizes accuracy, reliability, and exceptional service, ensuring that clients receive the right products at the right time. With a collaborative and hands-on culture, the company continues to expand while maintaining its reputation as a trusted partner in the healthcare supply industry. We are seeking a motivated Sales and Customer Service professional to join the team and play a critical role in maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts. In this position, you will actively reach out to customers who are already purchasing from the company, assist them in placing orders, and ensure that their needs are met efficiently and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with clients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for an opportunity to grow into a full sales position with commission potential. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, providing exceptional service while supporting the sales team in achieving company goals. Responsibilities Proactively reach out to existing accounts to maintain relationships, answer questions, and support ongoing purchasing needs. Assist clients with placing orders, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and proper documentation. Provide product guidance and recommendations to customers based on their needs and past purchasing history. Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolve any issues that arise. Track and manage customer interactions, maintaining accurate records of communications, orders, and follow-ups. Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling, preparing the groundwork for transitioning into a commission-based sales role. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or other channels. Support special projects or initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, internal processes, or sales effectiveness. Continuously learn about new products, industry trends, and best practices to provide knowledgeable service to clients. Qualifications Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, account management, or a related field, ideally within medical supplies, healthcare, or a similar industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM or order management systems. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently while supporting team goals. Eagerness to learn about sales processes and eventually transition into a commission-based sales role. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving responsibilities. Compensation Salary: $65,000 annually, with growth opportunities toward a commission-based sales role in the future.
