Job Summary Weatherford is expanding into the Hydro Lyft service line in Canada. This service is in high demand with many large operators, and we're looking for self-driven individuals. The Hydro Lyft technology is designed to achieve low density while maximizing debris carrying capacity for optimal results in low pressure wells. Candidates that reside in Edmonton, Whitecourt, Grande Prairie, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. Recruiting in the Grande Prairie, AB area Responsibilities * Load up and secure chemistry totes for jobs and ensure correct chemicals are loaded for well parameters * Perform rig-up and rig-out duties with equipment on location as per rig up layout * Operate equipment and maintain and repair equipment, as required * Regularly observe equipment-operating parameters * Report potential problems to Senior Operator and Operations manager * Monitor fluid properties and add chemicals as needed to ensure proper fluid rheology * Perform jar tests and record information as required based on work instructions * Track product inventory and burn rate * Able to calculate well volumes and other oilfield calculations * Understanding of wellbore dynamics and pressures * Communicate effectively with team members * Follow safety protocols and wear PPE equipment as assigned * Able to safely operate forklift * Adhere to safe working procedures * Manage the Fluid Technician and ensure that they perform their duties correctly Skills/Education Required * 3+ years previous oilfield experience, preferred experience on a Coil Tubing Unit, Pumping Unit experience or Service Rig * Valid class 5 Driver's license * Advanced knowledge of fluid systems and coil tubing operations. * Able to understand and interpret instructions both written and verbal * Able to identify dangerous conditions and act accordingly * Thorough knowledge of safety policies and emergency procedures * Able to interact responsibly with crew members, company representatives at all times * Good communication skills both written and verbal * Able to solve and troubleshoot problems * Able to work with little or no supervision * Mechanically inclined * Forklift certification or experience is a plus #LI-KP1
