Job summary
PIPELAYER - Water & Sewer Construction WCL is looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our underground water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role is responsible for installing pipe safely and accurately while maintaining line, grade, and quality standards. What You Need 3+ years experience as a Pipelayer in underground water and sewer construction. Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and storm pipe installation. Ability to set pipe to line and grade using laser and/or traditional methods. Solid understanding of trench safety, shoring, and ground conditions. Experience with bedding, backfill, and proper compaction around pipe. Ability to work closely with excavator operators, topmen, and foremen. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Required Tickets Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain). Schedule 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. 6 days on / 1 day off. Weather dependent work. Perks Benefits. RRSP Program. Boot Allowance.
