Job summary
UNDERGROUND FOREMAN – Water & Sewer Construction WCL is looking for an experienced Underground Foreman to lead our water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role is responsible for safety, production, quality, and day-to-day coordination of underground operations. What You Need 5+ years experience in underground water and sewer construction. Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or senior underground crew member. Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and storm pipe installation. Solid understanding of line, grade, trench safety, and shoring requirements. Ability to plan daily work, coordinate crews, and manage production targets. Experience working with excavator operators, pipe layers, topmen, and labourers. Ability to read and interpret drawings, grades, and project specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Safety-focused with a strong commitment to site safety and compliance. Required Tickets Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain). Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. 6 days on / 1 day off. Perks Benefits. RRSP Program. Boot Allowance. Leadership role with room to grow.
