À titre de Superviseur(e) – Opérations, vous serez responsable de superviser un ou plusieurs départements au sein des opérations d’un entrepôt, notamment la réception, la préparation des commandes, l’emballage, l’expédition, la coupe de fils, l’assemblage léger ainsi que l’entretien général de l’entrepôt. Vous relèverez directement d’un Gestionnaire ou Gestionnaire principal des opérations. Vous serez responsable de former, d’accompagner et de conseiller les employés et pourrez superviser directement au moins deux employés ou plus. Vous devrez respecter les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise en matière d’opérations, d’audit, de santé et sécurité, ainsi que toute autre politique applicable. Vous veillerez à répondre aux exigences des clients et contribuerez au développement et à l’amélioration des processus et procédures. Responsabilités * Coordonner les affectations de travail des employés afin de répondre aux exigences de service liées aux activités entrantes et sortantes. * Veiller à l’atteinte des objectifs de performance en matière de productivité, de qualité, de service et de sécurité. * Surveiller le flux de travail, le travail effectué, les taux d’erreur et les indicateurs connexes, et prendre les mesures correctives nécessaires. * S’assurer que les procédures sont respectées, mises en œuvre et appliquées. * Vérifier l’exactitude des processus de contrôle de la qualité et d’inspection, et veiller à éliminer les coûts inutiles. * Maintenir un environnement de travail sécuritaire et s’assurer du respect des règlements en matière de santé et sécurité. * Tenir à jour des dossiers précis concernant les heures de travail, les présences et la gestion du rendement. * Maintenir de bonnes relations avec les employés et favoriser un climat de travail positif. * Recommander des mesures appropriées en matière de gestion du rendement. * Participer au développement et à la documentation des processus d’entrepôt. * Établir et surveiller les normes de rendement liées aux différentes fonctions de l’entrepôt, notamment la préparation, l’emballage et l’expédition des commandes. * Traiter les marchandises retournées. * Établir et surveiller les normes de rendement liées à l’utilisation de l’équipement, à l’assemblage, à l’entretien général de l’entrepôt, etc. * Développer et mettre en œuvre des programmes de formation et de certification et s’assurer que les employés de l’entrepôt reçoivent la formation nécessaire. Qualifications * Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent requis. * Certification de conduite de chariot élévateur considérée comme un atout. * Minimum de 3 années d’expérience dans les opérations d’entrepôt et de distribution. * Minimum de 1 année d’expérience en supervision ou en direction d’employés d’entrepôt. * Capacité à conduire un chariot élévateur ou à obtenir une certification de conduite de chariot élévateur. * Bonne connaissance des processus de contrôle des stocks. * Connaissance des produits électriques, de construction ou mécaniques. * Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles. * Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps. * Compétences informatiques de base. * Grand souci du détail. * Capacité à apprendre et à utiliser des systèmes de planification d’entreprise. * Capacité à résoudre les problèmes rapidement, y compris dans des situations stressantes. * À l’aise de travailler dans un environnement axé sur le travail d’équipe. * Capacité à utiliser des outils manuels, des outils électriques et différents équipements. * Capacité à anticiper les besoins des clients et à s’y préparer. As the Supervisor - Operations, you will supervise one or more departments within a warehouse operation including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of the warehouse. You will report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager Operations. You will train, coach and council associates, and can have at least 2 or more direct reports. You will comply with operational, audit, safety, and all other company policies. You will focus on meeting customer requirements. You will contribute to the development of processes and procedures. Responsibilities: * Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements * Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety * Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and takes corrective action * Ensure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced * Confirm quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated * Ensure safe working environment and follows safety regulations * Maintain accurate time, attendance, and performance management records * Maintain positive employee relations and morale * Recommend performance management actions * Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes * Establish and monitors performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship * Process returned merchandise * Establish and monitors performance standards for equipment, assembly, housekeeping, etc. * Develop and implements training certification programs and ensures warehouse employees receive training Qualifications: * High School Degree or Equivalent required * Fork Lift Certification preferred * 3 years warehouse and distribution operations experience * 1 year experience leading warehouse associates * Ability to operate a forklift or have the ability to obtain a forklift certification * Strong knowledge of inventory control processes * Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong time management skills * Basic computer skills * Attention to detail * Ability to learn and use business planning systems * Resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations * Comfortable working in a team environment * Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment * Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs Physical Expectations: * Work is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. * Work may require excessive bending or stooping. * Employee required to climb ladders. * Employee required to use hand tools. * Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.). #LI-SC2 This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
