The Millwright is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of sawmill machinery, including conveyors, hydraulic systems, and drive systems. They must also operate hoisting equipment and ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols and SOPs. Candidates must hold a valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright certification or be an apprentice nearing completion. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are required.
