Quesnel Plywood is currently recruiting for a Weekend Clean-up General Labourer position. You'll Do: * Required to remove wood waste and other debris from within and around equipment and dispose of it in the hog. * Entering into equipment and removing debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes and sometimes by hand. * Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment where entering the equipment is not possible or adequate cleanup requires these extra measures. * Cleaning hydraulic tanks * performing fire watch activities (monitoring welding and other hot work to ensure a fire does not occur and to immediately address any incipient fires that start as the result of hot work You have: * Desire to learn, grow, and succeed * Strong organizational and communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and crew-building skills * The flexibility to work all shifts or weekend clean-up. * Valid driver’s license Compensation Package: * The hourly pay rate for this position will be $35.64 Your Workplace Location: Quesnel is a family-friendly community of 25,000 in central British Columbia.
