Information Systems Specialist West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is a Canadian gold exploration and development company focused on restarting and expanding the historic Madsen Gold Mine in the Red Lake District of Northwestern Ontario. In addition to advancing the Madsen Mine toward sustainable production, the company is developing nearby high-grade gold deposits to support future growth. Reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations , the successful candidate is responsible for the technical implementation, configuration and ongoing operational health and maintenance of site Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure that includes Process Control (PCS) and Fleet Management (FMS) environments. The successful candidate will write, modify, integrate and test the coding of the software platforms at the operating systems level and communications software level for the Red Lake Madsen Mine. The rotation schedule for this position will be determined based on operational requirements and the successful candidate's availability, experience, and business needs. Operation Bonus Program Fly-in / Fly-out & Camp Accommodations 100% employer paid extended health and dental program Health Care Spending Account Long-Term Disability Coverage RRSP matching program Employee referral bonus About the Candidate: Minimum 5 years experience in IT Experience in industrial setting, preferred Post secondary qualification in IT / Computer Science or related discipline Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of Data Centre technologies including Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Monitoring/Alerting, Backup and Recovery. Demonstrated experience in scripting & automation (e.g. Powershell, Python). Understanding of networking technologies would be advantageous. Exposure to Process Control Systems highly desirable Exposure and experience in safety practices ideally in the mining or the resources industry. Excellent communication skills with strong user focus. Strong time management & organizational skills - able to prioritize & multitask. Proven IT change management, incident and problem management skills. About the Role: Responsible for various IT functions at the mine site Provide daily IT support to the site end users including users set up, network support, troubleshooting, application of software and hardware Ensure the site IT network is maintained and functioning Assist in developing critical network security infrastructure and operating of data network equipment. Ensure the IT infrastructure is secure Ensure a proper setup and configuration of server infrastructure Administer various IT systems including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Remote Desktop, Databases, client workstations. Develop IT policies & procedures Provide IT risk analysis and ways to mitigate the risk Make improvements to the existing IT infrastructure Work on on-going, incoming and ad hoc IT projects. Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience, preferably in an industrial setting, and a post-secondary qualification in IT or Computer Science. Proficiency in data center technologies, scripting, and automation is required, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
