The student counsellor will provide educational, career, and vocational guidance to students while coordinating services with teachers, parents, and community agencies. They are also responsible for administering standardized tests and referring students to specialized services as needed.

Responsibilities Tasks Attend educational conferences and workshops Counsel students regarding educational, career or vocational issues Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies Co-ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, aptitude and interest tests Refer students to other specialized services when required

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience. The role requires the ability to work on-site at the designated physical location in Surrey, BC.
