Floorhand - Well Servicing

The Floorhand is responsible for supporting the Derrickhand and Driller in well servicing operations. This position will perform rig floor activities, conducting preventative maintenance on rig equipment, and general labour tasks as assigned. Floorhand will assist in driving equipment to and from job sites and all other assigned duties in accordance with client requirements, company procedures and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities Perform general labour duties Clean and maintain equipment under direction of Driller or Rig Manager Participate in pre-job safety meetings, hazard assessments and emergency response drills Identify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and equipment hazards immediately. Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the rig site Work as part of team, communicating with crew members and supervisors Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum 18 years of age Previous well servicing experience working in Floorhand position is preferred Valid full Class 5 Drivers license & reliable transportation Air Brakes Endorsement is preferred Industry Certifications Preferred: Valid H2S Alive Valid Standard First Aid with CPR CSO (Common Safety Orientation) Floorhand Competency considered an asset Ability to pass pre-employment testing Fluent in Written/Spoken English Be willing to work in all weather conditions and work environments with work away from home for periods of time What we offer: Immediate Employee Benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage Retention Bonus Matched Savings Program - up to 5% Steady crews with opportunity for local work Floorhand position is full-time seasonal position. Seasonal work is based on operational requirements, project schedules, weather and environmental conditions and other factors outside our control.

The Floorhand supports the Derrickhand and Driller in well servicing operations by performing rig floor activities and general labour tasks. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, participating in safety meetings, and ensuring site housekeeping standards are met.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, with air brake endorsement preferred. Previous well servicing experience is preferred, along with industry certifications such as H2S Alive and Standard First Aid.
