What You'll Do As the Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and supporting the company's growth objectives. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across targeted industries and trade lanes. Build and maintain long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service. Grow existing accounts by identifying additional logistics and supply chain opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Provide customers with market intelligence and transportation solutions tailored to their needs. Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements. Monitor industry trends, freight markets, carrier capacity, and supply chain developments. Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline records. Represent WFS at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, shipping, or supply chain industries. Proven success in business development, account management, or sales. Strong understanding of freight forwarding, international transportation, and supply chain solutions. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint). Why Join WFS?
