Job summary
This position is responsible for delivering customer service excellence within the new equipment Pumps and Mixers Inside Sales team, which is measured by preparing quotes for industrial equipment, meeting or exceeding customer delivery expectations, processing customer orders, managing and expediting partners and sub-suppliers for responses, and providing prompt responses to customer inquiries Education, Skills, and Experience Post-Secondary Education or equivalent Parts Experience. Five or more years of experience in purchasing or customer service. Manufacturing or field experience an asset. Understanding of industry, including product knowledge, an asset. Experience with the coordination of RFIs and RFQs. Demonstrated negotiation, task management and customer service skills. Maintains composure in dealing with difficult situations; demonstrates positive customer service attitude. Strong organization, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills Computer skills (Excel, Word, Hubspot CRM, Dynamics 365 Business Central). Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel is considered an asset. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the selection and quotation of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and mixers. Assist with daily review, triage, and prompt response to customer leads provided by our partner companies. Regular proactive interaction with customers will be required, including providing pump sizing guidance, answering bid clarifications, and liaising with senior inside sales staff to provide responses to client engineering inquiries. Responsible for order write up, submission to operations and responding to internal clarification requests. Close jobs by responding to inquiries, verifying information, and entering into system (Accounting and CRM). Coordinate with sub suppliers to ensure the selection and quotation of sub vendor items meets customer specifications. Support outside Sales as needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
