Job summary
Role Description The Sales Consultant role at Willowdale Automotive Group is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. In this role, the Sales Consultant engages with prospective and existing customers to understand their transportation needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide them through the entire sales process from initial inquiry to delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and qualifying customers, conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining pricing, financing, and lease options, and preparing accurate sales documentation. The Sales Consultant collaborates closely with finance and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, follows up with leads through phone, email, and in-person interactions, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of vehicle inventory, features, and promotions. The role also includes meeting sales targets, maintaining a professional showroom presence, and using CRM tools to track customer interactions and build long-term relationships. Qualifications Strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle solutions. Demonstrated Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills, focusing on building trust and long-term relationships. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Proven ability to work toward and achieve sales targets, with sound negotiation and closing skills. Comfort using CRM systems, email, and basic office software to manage leads and track customer interactions. Knowledge of automotive products, financing options, and industry trends, or a strong willingness to learn. Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as required, and to collaborate effectively within a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset. Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an advantage but candidates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
